WHAT: The City of Pleasantville Urban Enterprise Zone is preparing to “up the ante” in a membership drive to enlist all Pleasantville businesses to join this state economic development program.
Mayor Jesse L. Tweedle, Sr. and city officials will stand with $5-Million in (play) cash to kick-off a direct mail campaign to promote the business development loan program, which has distributed more than $11-million in more than 80 loans.
You’ll find this to be a unique UEZ event unmatched in any of the other 31 NJ UEZs. In addition to the $5-million pile of promotional $100 bills, the UEZ will unveil two UEZ-purchased vehicles that are designed to be “rolling billboards” to promote the UEZ program.
A news release detailing the program will be made available through a separate e-mail but will have an embargo until Wednesday, May 13.
